Please make note of the following:
- We’re getting a lot of call from agents inquiring about edocs hours in advance of the closing. Please refrain from this if at all possible. We are aware of who is waiting on edocs. We will call you as soon as they come in. If it gets within an hour of closing, feel free to email us at closings@signingcarolina.com. We are able to respond more quickly to emails but you are welcome to call as well (336-992-3304).
- How to handle an incorrectly executed document. If a borrower messes up signing a document…Instead of lining thru and initialing, consider replacing the doc with one from the borrowers set. This produces much cleaner work.
- Criminal Background Checks: We’ve been resisting this for awhile now, but the time has come that we have to address it. Most all companies are requiring these checks now. If you have a background check thru the NNA, please fax it to us at 800-930-0554 so we can make a note on your profile. For all others, we need you to get that check done right away. Starting 3/1, ILS will no longer allow us to use agents who do not have a background check on file. Please fill out the information below, fax to us and we’ll get the background screen done for you and send you the results. The cost is $23 so you’ll need to give us credit card info. If you do not feel comfortable faxing this information in, you can call us @336-992-3304 and we’ll take it over the phone.
