Hope everyone had a nice and peaceful Holiday and we thank you for the nice cards, gifts and baked goods we received. We have just a few things to cover this month.
- Please remember to fax back funding docs to us as per the last newsletter. A cover sheet is attached with each order we send out with specific instructions about what we need faxed in. See bold comments below taken from last newsletter: The fax back procedure is working well. It is enabling us to minimize 2 HUGE areas of concern:
- We can now guarantee our clients that their funding docs will be faxed to them eliminating headaches on our end – and yours. If the docs are not faxed in to us by the next business morning, we can address it directly with the agent.
- The added plus is that this process allows us to spot oversights on key documents before the package goes out. We have made one change to the process, though. Instead of hanging onto the package until you hear from us, go ahead and drop it if it’s been more than an hour. If something is wrong, we will call you right away - usually within minutes.
- Progressive loans: When completing the DHL shipping label, please do not select any value for insurance purposes on the shipping label.
- Starting January 1, 2007, we will be eliminating the fax back option for invoices. Just go to www.signingcarolina.com, click on NOTARY INVOICE, fill out the short form and click SUBMIT. This step will give us all the details we need to ‘close out’ the order and it also generates your payment. Or you can go directly to the notary invoice by going to http://www.signingcarolina.com/notaryinvoice.php
- If you have missing/invalid contact numbers for borrowers, try calling 1-800-FREE-411 for phone numbers before contacting us. It's free from any phone including cell phones. The only drawback is that you may have to listen to an ad or two!
- Remember to place confirmation calls soon after accepting assignment.
- We are continually picking up new clients so we need to be on our toes. Make sure you read the instructions sent with your order.
- When accepting an order that requires you to print edocs, make sure you can print before accepting the assignment. EDOCS generally come at the last minute as many of you know. This is not the best time for you to find out you cannot print.
